Restricted Access
Access to imagery acquired through the
NASA Science Data Purchase (SDP) is restricted by SDP agreements with proprietors to just
NASA-affiliated researchers. If you are a NASA-affiliated researcher interested in free access to the SDP archive of 3284 IKONOS and
QuickBird scenes then please fill out the Registration Form
and FAX to 301.314.9658 or E-mail to glcf@umiacs.umd.edu. GLCF support staff will
contact via e-mail when authorization has been achieved.
A map of scene footprints for all imagery in this restricted access collection is available for review.
Download of SDP collections is not currently available.
Data Rights
Registration Checking Explanation
Registration verification requires GLCF to compare applicant names with (US) Federal lists. The SDP agreement also requires GLCF to
verify active affiliation of applicant with NASA research. The following lists are primary checks:
